today was jus another normal day that i spent in me popo's house as the 'zhong zhit' is nearing it is a festival where we can enjoy the yummy-ness of dumplings or otherwise called 'zhong zi'.. therefore we had a mission for the day that is to make"chinese dumplings" but dang it i jus oni realizied i forgot to take pictures of it...wait i'll take out the ones from the frizer to post it up...its all yummmmsss....popo made the first batch of savoury dumplings first b4 we actually arrived and i got to help make the dumplings that are spicy...mmm..all yummms tooo..let me tell you what is placed in the dumplings..glutinous rice (fried with spices and dark soy sauce first)then hmm...suddenly notice i dont know what are the english names of the ingredients so i shall write it in canto den...lols...hmmm we shall start with lut chi,wong dau,fat and skinny meat at the same time the em fa yuk(porky) marinated so so well and turns out to be oh so juicy (shiverrsss),and one thing that cannot cannot be missed...dong gu...as in mushrooms...love love love mushrooms...(ah gong excuse my language pls but....)it is so damn good...damn damn good...hehehe....and that is it..the ingredients need to make a absolute yummmsss zhong...tks to me popo i cud help her make it..with also the "tai chu gun" hehe...my personal favourite knida homemade dumpling is jus rice,mushrooms and the em fa yuk...oooooo jus writing bout it makes me drooollllll.....
oki oki hav to focus bac on the post...then the one i got to make is the spicy type of dumpling that i rarely consume...at first today i forgot y buthen after i tasted one i remembered...but first i shall tell what is in the spicy zhong...it has only 2 yes TWO main ingredients that is the rice and wong tau oni...syok rite buthen there is the catch to it the wong tau is fried with different ingredients too to make it spicy..and the rice is mixed with sugar if not as popo says the rice wil be bitter...well as predicted those i made wernt perfect and aldo not even close to perfect..it looked more like a pillw-jumn tau as me popo calls it...hehe..buthen when i tasted it i remember the reason y..cause im not use to eating spicy and sweet at the same time kinda zhong..buthen today after the zhongs came out....i tell you....ffffwwwwwaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!jus basacilly spells D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S all over the kitchen and i seemed to enjoy the lat zhong...
well besides getting to help making the dumplings...i got to see and play with my two youngest cousins-kor kor and mei mei...they are jus adorable eventhough kor kor is much more rough and not as smily but he is still a baby and i adore babies...(not until they start to grow grow and grow-sometimes i really wonder how wud i handle and bring up my kids and wud my kids end up to be like so and so...oOMG wait wait no more dreaming and wondering bac to the post HERE....)K...oh ya spent the whole day from the time where the "TAI CHU GUN" picked me up from house there onwards and i was practically running two direction or thress the whole day...first the kitchen then second the living hall den third the porch where kor kkor and mei mei spend most of the time running ere and there...got a few shots of them running tooo and ooo i found out something that kor kor is very against today..that is he disslikes "chees" not the eating kinda cheese of cz its simply so yummy it goes with almost everything and so so rich and stringy especially in pizzas....uh oh de toured again bac to this...kor kor's definition of chees simply means taking photos..u kno when most ppl tkae picture they go "okay everybody...SAY CHEESE" wen i was taking pictures of them running around the porch..kor kor spotted me and ran to me and told me to my face...."I SAY NO CHEES...I DONT WANT CHEESE". okay...i was shocked then so i said ok ok i keep kay??them he ran off after that incident whenever i wanted to capture "THE MOMENT" i snucked my camera out discreetly take pic tures of them both..heheh...then soon when i wanted to take a pic of the cute tiny little colorful clips that i got mei mei i managed to take just one shot and a hand reached in and took all ten clips away..it wwas kor kor..he was mumbling mumbling "kenot..tis mei mei's one".....PHEW....think of it how am i suppose to raise my kids man....(me ah gong..u better start thinking...lols...*kidd*)
well i've been typing for bout 30 minute now -i know...SLOW huh...buthen stil im very satisfied with my post today as i managed to write down all the things i wanted to say...see jus about time..me ah gong calling dy...load pics first lo den....:p
